In late 2021, during Melbourne's lockdowns, SRV worked with Seven Dimensions to produce a new series of videos. The videos include information to help people understand how to plan ahead and what legal documents they can put in place to ensure their wishes are understood and respected.
The new videos also have a strong focus on supported decision making – focusing on helping people who may be required to make decisions for someone else to involve them in the decision-making process and to make good decisions.
The videos were developed in consultation with other organisations, including State Trustees, Office of the Public Advocate, Polaron Language Services, Ethnic Communities Council Victoria, Victoria Law Foundation, Australian Multicultural Community Services, Justice Connect and other stakeholders.
SRV has developed five new videos covering the following topics:
